Bremen Athletics

The Bremen girls 6th grade basketball team traveled to New Prairie on Monday night. The A team battled all game long in a very defensive battle, but came up short in the end and lost 8-4. They were able to produce plenty of shot opportunities, but just could not get them converted to points. Scoring for the A team was Rose Meister and Mila McKinney each with 2 points. The B team played hard in their game; however, New Prairie was able to take an early lead and carry it throughout the game. The B team lost 21-5. Sydney Maggert and Cami Godoy each had 1 point, while Melanie Aguayo led scoring with 3 points. The lady lions hope to improve when they return to action Wednesday at home against Argos at 5:30.
