7th /8th Grade Girls Basketball vs Culver Community Middle School The girls 7th grade team traveled to Culver for their season opener tonight and came away with a 32-22 victory. Scoring for the Lady Lions were: Peyton Rodriguez 12, Jayde Atkins 8, Gianna Muck 6, Addie Farabaugh 2, Mihayla Bettcher 2, Josie Wildauer 2. Game 2 will be Wednesday at 5:30 @ New Prairie. The 8th grade girls basketball team played aggressive team defense and held Culver scoreless for the entire game on Monday night. After a slow 1st quarter on offense scoring only 4 points, the buckets started falling and Bremen prevailed by a final score of 28-0. Leading the team in rebounds was Lia Waidner with 8 and she was also the team leader in steals with 4. Blakeleigh Soliz lead the team in scoring with 9 points. Also in the scoring columnfor the Lady Lions was Emma Waider (5), Mallorie McManis (4), Brooke Thomas (2), Brynn Stahley (2), Marjary Calix (2), and Lia Waidner (2). Great job Lady Lions!
