Bremen defeated Culver on Saturday night 58-26 to claim their first Bi-County championship since 2008. The Lions had a superb team effort all week, working through adversity and finding ways to win, and counting on their defense to carry them to a title. Chase Devine continued his outstanding play and got the Lions out to a great start, hitting 5 first half three's on his way to a game high 21 points and also earning tournament MVP. Bryce Miller had another great all around night with 14 points, and front court teammate Riley Tener had 13 in a strong effort. Seniors Hartley Mitole, Maddux Hickman, and Jack Wildauer continued their solid play and great leadership and are well deserving first time Bi-County winners. Owyn Nunemaker, Espen Simpson, and Santos Rodriguez all played very important roles this week to help bring a Bi-County trophy back to Bremen. Jack Wildauer was the winner of the WB Hawkins award and was recognized between games. The award recognizes leadership, scholarship, athletic achievement, and servanthood, and Jack is an outstanding example of those things to our team, school and community. Well deserved honor for Jack. Scoring for Bremen Chase Devine 21 Bryce Miller 14 Riley Tener 13 Owyn Nunemaker 4 Hartley Mitole 2 Maddux Hickman 2 Jack Wildauer 2
