The three Lady Lions traveled to Plymouth today to compete in the IHSAA Girls Wrestling Sectionals. As a team, the Lady Lions finished 12th with a total of 36 team points. Results on the day: McKenzie Scott fished the day 3-2 and placed 5th. She will be an alternate for regionals next Saturday. Makenzie Shumaker went 4-0 on the day. She is the sectional champion at her weight. Makenzie also led the Lady Lions team in team points with 26. Kayleanna Moser went 1-2 on the day and did not place. Makenzie Shumaker will be back in action on January 10th to try and punch her ticket back to State at Plymouth High School. Come out and support this young lady.
