Bremen 6th Grade Basketball with two big A and B game wins against Fairfield to end the season! Bence Yoder Led Bremen 6th Grade A Team Past Fairfield A Team with a score of 33-24 A strong performance from Bence Yoder, helped Bremen 6th Grade Basketball defeat Fairfield A Team, 33-24, on Thursday at Benton Elementary School. Bence scored 14 points to lead the way for Bremen 6th Grade Basketball. Trailing 10-7, Bremen 6th Grade Basketball went on a 10-point run to take the lead. Their tenacious defense all over the court and rebounding proved to be too much. Grant Garber led the offense as points guard and setup the offensive attack. Carson Alvarado was relentless on defense with several turnovers he capitalized into scores. Ethan Schori and Isaac Jimenez proved to be too much of a big man presence in the paint. They accounted for the majority of Bremen's rebounding. Grant Garber and Bence Yoder each hit multiple three-pointers for Bremen 6th Grade Basketball. Also contributing for Bremen 6th Grade Basketball were Grant Garber (10 points), Carson Alvarado (5 points), and Ethan Schori (4 points). _____________________________________________________ Bremen 6th Grade Basketball B Team Secures Victory Over Fairfield B Team On Game-Winning 3Pt. Shot from Noah Williams with a score of 15-12 in OverTime! A made three by Noah Willieams gave Bremen 6th Grade Basketball the 15-12 victory over Fairfield B Team at Benton Elementary School on Thursday on the final shot in Overtime. Bremen B Team were also relentless with their defensive prowess. Every player on the team contributed for a tough battle against a great Fairfield team. Urija Winkelman, Zane McGowen, Adrian Miller, Tony Osorto, Wyatt Bartholomew, Parker Marsh all played tough defense in their big man roles for Bremen B Team and accounted for the majority of Bremen’s rebounding. Greyson, Joel, Bruno, Levi, Noah, Trystan, Wyatt B, and Wyatt W. ran the offensive set plays to perfection scoring multiple times over the course of the game. Noah led Bremen 6th Grade Basketball in scoring with nine (9) points. Noah knocked down three shots from beyond the arc for Bremen 6th Grade Basketball. Additional scorers for Bremen 6th Grade Basketball included Greyson Jacques (2 points), Levi Sparks (2 points), and Wyatt Bartholomew (2 points). Bremen ends their 6th Grade Basketball Season with these two great wins and lots of growth from all the Bremen Basketball players in their pursuit of greatness in sports and the classroom.
