Bremen Athletics

Bremen 5th grade boys basketball traveled to Triton tonight for a rematch of their game earlier this season. The A team came to battle tonight and were right there in the game in the first half; however, Triton was able to pull away in the second half. This Triton team has held all teams to 11 points or less, but Bremen was able to score 12 against them tonight. Bremen's A team lost 49-12, but they showed great improvement. Scoring for the A team was Zeke Rohde and Rome Williams with 2 points each, and then Gaehl Arias and Allen Andujar with 4 points each. Michael Byer and Peter Varner added tough defense and great rebounding tonight. The B team was able to play a quarter tonight but were held scoreless in that quarter. The B team was able to effectively move the ball and have good shot opportunities. Jase Garrett, Bobby Suhanosky, Lucas Castillo, Lissandro Gonzalez, and Sebastian Sanchez are getting great team chemistry going. The lions will be back in action on Monday for their last home game of the season against Walkerton.
