5th Grade A team vs North Liberty School (16 - 14) Win 5th Grade B Team vs North Liberty School (12 - 10) Win The Bremen 5th grade boys basketball team kicked off their season at home last night against North Liberty. Both A and B team were able to bring home wins to start the season! Both A and B teams were getting great shot opportunities throughout the games. The A team was behind in most of their game, but they kept on fighting and the were able to take the lead and secure the victory 16-14. Scoring for the A team was very balanced with Allen Andujar, Zeke Rohde, Gaehl Arias, and Roman Sime all having 4 points. Peter Varner added great help defense. In the B game, the lions were able to take an early lead and carry it throughout the game, finishing with a 12-10 victory. The B team also had balanced scoring with Bobby Suhanosky and Jase Garrett both with 2, and Rome Williams and Michael Byer each with 4. Lissandro Gonzalez, Lucas Castillo, and Sebastian Sanchez added great defense for the lions. The 5th grade boys are back in action on the road to Argos tomorrow.
