Boys Varsity Swimming · Life in the Fast Lane


Bremen Boys Swimming & Diving participated at the Penn Sectional last Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  The Lions placed 6th in the final standings ahead of South Bend Adams, South Bend Clay, Mishawaka Marian, South Bend Washington and Glenn.  Leading the way for the Lions was Lextin Willis placing 8th in the 100 breastroke and 10th in the 200 IM.  Al Byrd took 7th place in diving and 13th in the 100 butterfly.  Isaac Nettrouer won the consolation final in the 50 freestyle placing 9th overall.  Also scoring for Bremen were Jacob Fish (500 freestyle & 100 breaststroke), Keegan Miller (200 freestyle), James Wordleman (50 freestyle & 100 freestyle), Thomas Hilgendorf (50 freestyle) and Sam Stiles (100 backstroke).  All the relays contributed valuable points on the day for the Lions including the 200 medley relay (Byrd, Fish, Willis, Stiles), 200 freestyle relay (Wordleman, Stiles, Hilgendorf, Nettrouer) and the 400 freestyle relay (Wordleman, Hilgendorf, Nettrouer, Willis).
