Boys Varsity Tennis · Bremen Tennis Captures 1st Regional

With a program rich in history and accolades, Bremen Tennis accomplished a first in school history……A REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!  The Lions took care of the Cadets of Culver Academy 4-1 last night at the Peru Regional and ran their record to a stellar 19-1 with their only loss at the hands of Penn HS and their enrollment of 3,600 students.  Winning matches for Bremen were Mark Bahr, Carson Miller, Dawson Hickman, Mariano DeLeon and Camden Hickman.  Congrats to Coaches Hickman & Lawmaster and the entire team!

The Lions will now face the #1 ranked Carmel Greyhounds at the LaPorte semi-state on Saturday, October 10th.  This will mark the first meeting between these two schools in any team sport.  The semi-state tournament will be held at the LeRoy Courts in Kesling Park in LaPorte: directions.  Matches will begin at 12:00 p.m. (ET) or 11:00 a.m. (CT).  Admission is $5.00.  If victorious, Bremen will face the winner of Homestead-Westview at the state quarterfinals on October 16th.


SPORTSMANSHIP:  Participants, coaches, and spectators are all expected to conduct themselves in a proper and sportsmanship-like manner.  The penalty point system will be used during the tournament.
