Girls Varsity Softball · Hard Work = Hardware for Lions

Bremen Softball met on Saturday evening to thank their fans and celebrate a magical season that ended with the 2019 2A State Championship.  Earlier in the day, Bremen defeated Tecumseh in the state championship game 2-1 held at Purdue University.  The Lady Lions capped off a two-year run that produced a record of 55-6, a 2018 state runner-up title, the state championship in 2019, a Northern Indiana Conference title, two NIC South and two Bremen Invitational crowns.

The Lions were recognized not only for the first softball state title in school history but also the first Northern Indiana Conference championship in any sport.  Bremen’s seniors and coaches addressed a mob of loyal fans during Saturday’s reception at Pfeiffer Field.  Bremen’s community support and sea of green throughout the entire tournament were, as always, unmatched.

Congratulations to the entire softball program and thank-you for representing Bremen in the most positive manner……it was a BIG win for the entire Bremen community and all the student-athletes & coaches that put on the kelly green uniform and don the little “b
