Bremen High School is completing its 4th year as the smallest school in the Northern Indiana Conference. The NIC represents the largest athletic conference in the state of Indiana with 13 member schools and enrollments ranging from well over 3,000 to Bremen’s current enrollment at just a tick under 500. Bremen has enjoyed athletic success throughout its NIC membership in many sports capturing several division titles and being well represented by athletes receiving All-NIC honors for their exploits on the field and in the classroom.
Last night’s softball victory over Jimtown marked the first time a Bremen team has captured an OVERALL NIC championship. The lady Lions posted a conference record of 11-1 (20-2 overall) placing them atop the NIC standings for the season. Congratulations to Coaches Huppert, Hershberger, Coffel, Teall, Fritter and the entire Bremen Softball program, the 2019 NORTHERN INDIANA CONFERENCE SOFTBALL CHAMPIONS!
