Varsity Softball · Softball State Championship: Tickets, FREE Fan Bus, T-Shirts, Reception & More!

Saturday’s State Championship Game will be played at Bittinger Stadium, Purdue University.  Bremen vs. Speedway with first pitch scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

  • Pre-sale tickets are available in the BHS Athletic Office for $10. Everyone must have a ticket to enter except for pre-school children who are free.  The Athletic Office is open this week from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  If you can’t make it during this time, call the office and we will make sure you can purchase a ticket.  Seating limited….Bring a lawn chair or blanket!
  • The official spirit t-shirt commemorating Bremen’s tournament run will be available for sale in the Athletic Office for $10.
  • A bus open to fans of all ages traveling to Purdue will depart Bremen High School at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and caravan with the team bus. The bus pick-up will be in front of the high school on Grant Street.  There is no cost for the fan bus (IT’S FREE) but you do need to pick up a free ticket in the Athletic Office by Friday noon to ride.  This will give us an idea of how many will be traveling.  Seats are limited and on a first come basis.  The bus will depart Purdue at the conclusion of the Bremen game or approximately 4:00 p.m.
  • There will be a community reception for the team on Saturday evening beginning 8:00 p.m. The reception will be held at Pfeiffer Field (varsity softball diamond in Sunnyside Park).  This will be an opportunity for the community to congratulate the team on their fine season and allow the coaches and players to be recognized.  If the weather doesn’t cooperate, it will be held in BHS Gym B.

  • TV-46 will be carrying the game live.
  • is livestreaming the game and offering DVD’s for sale online at the conclusion of the tournament.
  • Pictures and videos taken at the IHSAA championship game cannot be sold.
  • No banners, balloons, signs, posters, placards, noisemakers, sirens or whistles.
  • Coolers, bottles, cans and alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
