The Bremen boys track team had a great Friday night at the Kelly Relays hosted by Concord. The boys worked very hard and had a lot of fun while achieving many personal best performances. The Kelly Relays are truly a unique as every event is a relay, including the field events which require three competitors to combine their heights or distances. With an incredibly competitive field this year, the boys were able to achieve first place medals in two different events. The trio of Chase Carrico, Alex Bollenbacher, and Briley Leeper took home the “gold” in the pole vault event with a combined height of 27′. The freshmen medley relay of Evan Manges, Kain Hammons, Justin Zumbrun and Logan Fish also placed first on the night.
The boys will now prepare for their two day NIC competition at Elkhart Central starting on Tuesday at 5:15 at Elkhart Central.
